Mignon 9 is a contemporary French restaurant inspired by Parisienne bistros, located in Shanghai's former French concession. Dishes are mostly French classics with a twist, elevated bistro fare, and Western-style dishes with clear-cut flavor profiles. Though some dishes borrowing spices from Chinese cuisine, like the green peppercorn stuffed spring chicken. Other dishes of note is a surf and turf style tartare, bavette, braised lamb shoulder, and beef cheek pasta. It's a very pretty looking restaurant, stylish with a hint of Parisian charm; modern bistro design with a cute terrace and cozy interiors, complete with comfy cushioned banquets. There’s even a private room tucked in the back that seats up to eight people. Opened in May 2023. Dog-friendly covered terrace.
