The bar’s unassuming entrance belies the meticulous craft inside, where founder and bartender Harada Munenori works in his signature all-white suit, embodying the solemn, ritualistic approach of Japanese traditional bartending. Named after the colonial-era Avenue Joffre (now Huaihai Middle Road), the bar carries a subtle nostalgia for old Shanghai, blending the elegance of its surroundings with the quiet intensity of Japanese mixology.
